MUSIC SCORING - SOOL - Sool is the musical experiment led by: Pete Weiss (Weisstronauts, Tape Op Contributor) Neal Spaulding (Dynamite Brothers, Two Dollar Pistols) Kevin Quinn (Mercy James Gang, Weisstronauts) Formed in 2000, the band has released two CD's. Their latest, "Sooltime" features 52 tracks, each about a minute long. In 2001 Sool raised eyebrows when it apparently became the first group to play live with one member performing via satellite from over 700 miles away. The group fell out of grace with music fans briefly in 2003 after lipsynching their between song banter with a pre recorded tape at live gig in Jamaica Plain, MA. While members of Sool have previously contributed music for film scoring, this is their first attempt as Sool. More info at www.soolmusic.com. | |
