I am pleased to announce that Bad Gravity will premier Saturday, Oct. 7th, 2006 9PM at the Coolidge Corner Theater as part of the New England Film Festival !!!!The Coolidge is one of my favorite theaters of all in Boston and the film has been given the a very good showing time. Looks like some of the newsfeed got deleted by bots. That sucks. I had like 20 entries. Bone. Well, the film is coming along great. The additional 4 days of shooting in November has paid off. The film looks great and I'm currently piecing the good stuff in now. I should have a trailer soon. Also we're working with some musicians and a composer. Stay tuned

Reshoots 11/05

Thanks to everyone who helped out on the Thankgiving reshoots. We got some great shots of Boston, some very nice pick-up of Adam, Terrence, Joe, and Stacia, and some good additions thanks to Cindy, Stepka, Mike Oh, and Damian. Special thanks to Jordan, Andy, Jess, and Jake.

I hope to have updates soon. I'm getting things rolling again in terms of music, graphics, and all that post stuff. Happy Holidays to all.

Here's the film, take a good look!

8800 feet of pure beauty. Things are going well here at Bad Gravity. I'm hoping to have the film transfered and subsequent edititing to begin in February.

The remainder of the shooting occured the weekend following the snow storm. Jake and I had a few hair-raising experienced driving around with one of the cameras outside of the car in Harvard Square. The scene calls for Joe's character Aaron to be 'lost in the city'. Joe did fine but I don't want to be responsible for a $100K package at the mercy of Boston drivers for a long time. We shot the final scene of the movie on Newbury street, after our DP Jake called in sick. Was is the burrito he tripped on the day before because of the spices? Liz and I have our suspicion. Liz stepped up a glidecam operator and probably reuined her back for life. She was amazing.

The next step of course is to get the film processed, and then I can focus on editing and music. Local music a must.

Production Continues

We succeeded with 8 & 1/2 full days of shooting and then it snowed. Short of the characters coming upon a 'Santa's village' we were unable to finish shooting the final weekend. It looks as though enough planets are in alignment to continue shooting the weekend of 11/20. Two full scenes and a variety of minor ones will be tackled. We've dodged police, security, park rangers, BTD, & subway authories. We aquired a '72 chevy impala covertable for the shoot. beautiful. Our cast of characters has been incredible, the camera & sound team has been amazing, and the management staff unstoppable.
